What you're getting
Barbie and two puppies that actually do something. The Pup Adoption playset gives you a Barbie doll with bendable knees, two colour-change puppies, a pet carrier, adoption certificates, feeding bowls, a bottle, pee pad, pet bed and leash. That's the whole lot in one box.
Here's the clever bit. Fill the younger pup's bowl with cold water and its face changes colour, then warm water cleans it back. The larger pup gets a bottle of cold water and actually pees onto the pad with its own colour change. You can do it over and over, so it doesn't get boring after five minutes.
The carrier opens at the side so both puppies fit inside for the journey home, and all those accessories mean the nurturing play carries on well past the initial excitement. It's the sort of thing that keeps busy hands occupied without you needing to buy half a dozen other bits separately.
