What you're getting
This wooden train set is entirely plastic-free and made from FSC®-certified wood, so you're getting something that'll actually last and won't leave you feeling guilty about the planet. The figure-of-eight track comes with three arched stone bridges, and the train itself has magnetic wooden carriages that clip together easily.
You get 40 pieces in total: 17 track sections and bridges, 4 train carriages, and 19 buildings, tents and trees. There's a proper little world here — station, houses, market, hospital, farmhouse, the lot — so your child can build out proper scenarios rather than just pushing a train round in circles.
The whole thing's painted with water-based, non-toxic paints and has been tested to the hilt. The track layout measures 104cm wide by 45cm deep, so you'll need a decent bit of floor space, but that's the trade-off for having something genuinely detailed to play with.
