This is a Friesian mare — a horse breed that hails from Friesland in the Netherlands. You've got the build of a light draught horse, but don't let that fool you; Friesians are surprisingly graceful and nimble for their size. Their ancestors were apparently the war horses of choice across continental Europe back in the Middle Ages, which tells you something about their pedigree.
