Press the button and you've got sound effects. But there's more to it than that. Scan the dinosaur's DNA code with the free Jurassic World Facts app and you unlock augmented reality features—x-ray vision, thermal imaging, the lot. Your kids can even make the thing appear in your kitchen, which is either brilliant or mildly unsettling depending on your tolerance for dinosaurs at breakfast.
It's designed to help build motor skills while they're playing, so you can feel reasonably good about the screen time. Batteries are included but they're just for show—you'll want to swap them out for fresh ones when it arrives to get the full experience.
