What you're getting
The Komodo Dragon's saliva contains around fifty types of toxic bacteria that feed on flesh traces, which means bite wounds get infected fast. Recent research suggests there might be more to it though — the dragon could actually have venom glands in its mouth, which would explain why it's so effective at taking down prey.
