What you're getting
Little builders who love toy cars will get a real kick out of this LEGO CITY Yellow Taxi set. You get everything you need to build a detailed electric taxi complete with GPS screen, taxi logo, advertisement and battery stickers, plus luggage accessories. Two minifigures come along for the ride: a taxi driver and a tourist.
The design's clever where it counts. You can lift off the roof to get the figures inside, open the boot to stow the luggage, and lift the bonnet to see the toy electric motor underneath. As your kids build, they're picking up fine motor skills and problem-solving without even noticing they're doing it.
Once it's built, the play possibilities are genuinely endless. Airport runs, city tours, whatever story they fancy. The LEGO Builder app helps with construction too, letting them save progress, zoom in on fiddly bits, and rotate the model for a proper look at what they're doing.
