What you're getting
This LEGO Minecraft set brings two things your kids probably already love together in one box. You get a chicken-shaped coop with working features – eggs drop, seeds dispense – plus a Chicken Fan minifigure, a baby zombie who rides the chickens (yes, really), a fox, and cold and baby chickens to round out the farmyard.
There's enough in the box to build a proper scene: torches, hay, an axe, a smoker stove. The build itself keeps them occupied for a decent stretch, and once it's done, the play doesn't stop – they're defending the coop, rearranging, rebuilding as new ideas strike.
If your child's glued to Minecraft, this lets them recreate their favourite farming scenes in actual 3D, which is oddly satisfying to watch. They're developing spatial awareness and problem-solving without realising it's happening. It's the kind of set they'll actually come back to, not the one gathering dust after a week.
