Press the buttons and you'll get a variety of tuneful beats to discover. It lights up as each sound plays too, so there's plenty to keep them visually engaged. The whole thing's about learning cause and effect — they do something, something happens back.
It's got a sturdy handle, so you can lug it from room to room or take it to a mate's house for an impromptu concert. The drum comes with everything you need to get started.
When they've grown out of it, pass it on or donate it rather than binning it. Toys have a longer life that way.
