What you're getting

You're getting a ready-to-go bundle here: helmet, bell and light, all the bits your child needs to stay seen and heard while they're out on their scooter, bike or trike.

The helmet's the real star. It's lightweight and actually looks good enough that kids want to wear it, which frankly is half the battle. There's a strong ABS shell on the outside with EPS foam lining to absorb knocks, plus extended coverage around the head and forehead for that extra bit of reassurance. The magnetic clasp won't pinch their chin, there's soft padding inside, cooling vents so their head doesn't get too hot, and a sizing dial at the back so it grows with them. There's even a rear LED light built in.

The bell clips on in seconds with a flexible silicone strap and fits pretty much anything with handlebars. It's loud enough to actually be heard and doesn't look daft either.

The light is waterproof and wraps onto handlebars or stems just as easily. You get three modes—constant, flash and rapid flash—so they're visible whether it's dull or properly dark. Batteries are included.

It all adds up to one less thing for you to worry about, and your child gets the confidence to ride a bit further and a bit faster.
