The Mustang carries all that wild, independent spirit you'd associate with the American West – it's genuinely one of the native American horses, and free roaming ones are just that: wild. They're tough as nails and built for endurance, which is partly why they've become so prized.

Here's the thing though: they've got minds of their own and won't be pushed around. But they're clever with it. Treat them right, train them properly, and they'll pick things up quickly. They can be gentled and captured, but they'll always have that streak of self-determination running through them. That's not a flaw – that's the whole point.
