What you're getting
Your kids will love the Plum Gibbon wooden swing set. It's built for outdoor play with two single swings, a climbing rope and a cargo rope ladder, so there's plenty to keep them occupied.
The frame uses FSC certified, pressure-treated wood that's been sustainably sourced for strength and durability. The top bar is 100mm in diameter and the legs are 80mm, making the whole thing properly robust. Wooden cross braces add extra stability, and the metal swing attachments clip round the pole without any drilling needed — that keeps the timber's integrity intact.
The ropes have a soft feel and the seats are heavy duty blow moulded, so they'll stand up to proper use. You get a 12 month manufacturer's warranty against wood rot and insect damage, which is reassuring.
It arrives flat packed and takes two adults about 3 hours to put together. All the hardware's included, plus ground anchors for concreting it in. The approximate dimensions are 330 x 220 x 220cm, and you'll want to allow a 2m safety perimeter around it.
Maximum user weight is 50kg per person.
