What you're getting

You'll spot a raccoon straight away by that distinctive black mask across its face. They're nature's little bandits, really – silver-grey coat speckled with black, which does them a proper favour when they're out prowling at night. Being omnivores, they'll eat just about anything they can get their paws on.

Size-wise, they're all over the place. You're looking at anything from 4 lbs up to 20 lbs typically, though some hefty specimens can tip the scales at 40 lbs. Add their long, banded tail into the mix and they'll measure somewhere between 23 to 38 inches in total length.
