What you're getting

It's got character graphics and a shaped plaque to keep things fun, and the whole thing switches between balance bike and pedal bike mode without any faffing about – the pedals and stabilisers come off tool-free.
The handlebar and seat both adjust as your child grows, so you're not replacing it in six months. Puncture-proof EVA tyres mean fewer trips to the garage, and there's a front mudguard to stop the worst of the muck getting everywhere. The steel frame's built to last, and those soft moulded grips are actually sized for small hands rather than being an afterthought.
Wide wheels with decent tread keep things stable and smooth, whether they're learning to balance or getting the hang of pedalling. Handlebar height adjusts from 56–59cm and the seat from 40–42cm. Maximum user weight is 20kg.
