Your kids can turn bathtime into a proper kitchen adventure with this two-in-one set. You get a sink unit with a working pump-action tap and an oven-and-hob combination that you can lock together or set up separately – handy if they want to work side by side or you need to keep the peace at opposite ends of the tub.

Stick it to the bath or tiles with the suction pads and you're ready to go. Pop the pan on the hob, pump the yellow button and watch bubbles rise up like something's actually simmering away. Add a few drops of bubble bath and it'll send foam spilling right over the top. There's a ladle for scooping and stirring, and a pie dish that slides into the oven door.

Here's where it gets clever: twist the pan a quarter turn and the water pours down into the oven, spinning the pie dish as it goes. When they're done cooking, it's washing-up time – pump the sink handle and water flows from the tap. Turn the plug and it all drains straight back into the bath. Hooks on the side let them hang the ladle and pan to drip dry, which keeps everything tidy.

It's the kind of thing that gets them thinking about cause and effect while they're mucking about with water, and it naturally gets them talking and playing together.
