What you're getting
Stick this little figure on top of your Toniebox and you've got Postman Pat and his cat Jess ready to go. Tap the side of the box to skip ahead or rewind, squeeze the ears to turn the volume up or down—it's all pretty straightforward once you've got the hang of it.
Inside you'll find the Postman Pat theme song, three stories (The Greendale Rocket in two parts, Tricky Transport Day, and Pat's Clifftop Adventure), plus a bit of linking material and an outro. That's 60 minutes of content altogether, packed with the kind of gentle stuff kids that age tend to enjoy: teamwork, helping out, friendship, that sort of thing.
The figure itself is hand-painted plastic, sturdy enough for little hands, and designed so kids can spot their favourite character and grab it without faffing about. You'll need a Toniebox (sold separately) to use it, and Wi-Fi for the initial setup. After that, it's just a case of plonking it on top and letting it play.
