What you're getting
Get your child a proper camera that actually does what they want with it. The VTech KidiZoom Fun FX Camera Blue is a 10-in-1 camera with a rotatable lens, over 50 fun effects, and the ability to capture 16MP photos and videos. They can take selfies, panoramic shots, use 4x digital zoom and photo burst mode to catch every silly moment.
The creative side of things is where it gets interesting. There's a photo editor, animation maker, comic book effects, collages and a cartoon voice recorder so they can properly tinker with what they've made. Four built-in games, a musical slideshow and a bright 2.4-inch colour screen keep things moving when they're not behind the lens.
It's built to take a knock, comes with parental controls so you're not completely in the dark about what they're doing, and you can expand the storage with a microSD card if they go snap-happy. Needs 4 x AA batteries (sold separately). The camera itself measures 8.5 x 16 x 5.5cm.
